Definitely a feel of the Westwood aura, though it's on the smaller size surprisingly compared to some of Vancouver's, esp. with the West Broadway one.
Sucks that you have to ask the staff to let you in the washroom in the back.
15 years here.
Good to have some table seating at the front.

Clean, organized, but best of all, friendly!
Every time I visit, the cashiers don't just make crappy small talk - they actually ask me about a day. It seems like they actually care! They make a joke, they engage with me based on what I'm wearing, what I'm buying. They ask what I have planned for the day, and genuinely care!
Also: parking here is really decent! -

Good food and service. Clean and very organized, I really like IGA. They have a combination of organic food and non-organic. It's like a mix of pomme and save-on-foods. A lot of parking spaces and walking distance to bus stops so it's convenient. My go to IGA marketplace is this location and they one in Langley.

Wow, this is a far cry from the Ioco IGA that I used to frequent when living in Port Moody! This is definitely her much younger and way hotter lil' sis! My parents recently moved across the street from this location and while I at first was dreading the whole Westwood Plateau thing, I am very happy to be within easy walking distance of this store while on vacation here.
Great deli, bakery and produce. I'm pretty sure their prices are a little higher then the Safeway but it's all relative. Both times I went in, the cashiers made conversation beyond the customary small talk. Will definitely be back! -

Love the deli section and bakery.
has daily hot soups, sandwiches, salads...a little on the expensive side but better prices than going to Starbucks for lunch
The grocery section is good! produce always clean and organized!
meat selection is ok. limited and pricey.
Staff here is excellent!!! always so friendly, willing to help..
